This week was the judging of the Richmond Art Museum’s annual juried exhibition (and the 110th one I may add!) by David Kwasigroh. The museum has an open judging where artists may be present during the judging process and even ask the juror questions. I love open judging since it not only provides artists a chance to have their work displayed but also to use it as a learning opportunity.
Of course I’m also thrilled that my photo ‘Below the Surface’ has been selected for this exhibit. It really is so motivating that my underwater work is getting some thumbs up and I hope opportunities to take this further comes my way soon. I also decided to submit it to JPG magazine. If you like it, please don’t be shy to vote! :-)
